Music has been one of my primary creative languages. I started as a poet and later moved into producing and performing music that blends spoken word, hip-hop, R&B, and experimental sounds. My performances, workshops and circles encourge deep listening, feeling and playfulness.
I’m currently recording new acoustic and community-centered songs under Ashley Rae, while my existing multi-genre produced work is available as Ashtral Projects (see links below). My music is currently on all streaming platforms, but I’m transitioning to Bandcamp for new releases. Unlike other platforms, Bandcamp allows fans to support artists directly, giving creators a fair share for their work. Your support goes straight to the music and the people who make it, helping me keep creating and sharing songs that matter. Thank you for your support!
